The age old query - where to hide the pie. If you have a pie safe use it or you could cover it in a cake dome if your family is likely to eat it try hiding it in the laundry cupboard - providing the laundry is done and the room will not be heating and cooling this is bad for the pie. Good luck!

the eggs are cooked so you can safely keep the pie out at room temperature-or if you prefer-you can refridgerate-but make sure that the pie has completely cooled before you cover with plastic-(other wise you'll get moisture pockets which will make your pie crust soggy. make sure the plastic doesn't touch the pie. -safest-countertop!

Leave it out and cover loosely with a clean tea towel. Unless, of course, the source of your insecurity is that one of your family members will eat it!

put in the frig, take it out a couple of hours before serving it will be fine.. remember the cool whip ;-)
