Perhaps because she doesn't see that as the ultimiate compliment. You have to remember she's female and such crudeness might be offensive to her. If you said you'd walk through ten miles of snow and blizzards to wrap your arms around her so she didn't freeze, maybe then she'd appreciate your compliment better. Don't be discouraged about her reaction, just try and be a little less....guyish, when talking to her.

wow...i am sure she looked at you weird because 1) it sounds weird and that would be MY first reaction and 2) it sounds like a line, rather than a compliment. You might have been better off saying you would put U and I together if you could rearrange the alphabet. step your game up, sweetie.

because that was too graphic....it seems a little to extreme and also disturbing. Remember if you want her to like you back you can't creep her out like that. Many girls just want to know that you will be there for them...I hope this helps!
