Hi. As your Immune System is trying to cope with the virus or bug it is better to rest your body, drink fluids ie water,eat healthy foods - unprocessed. Good sleep is healing too. But don't become a couch potato and use feeling not well as an excuse not to do some form of exercise in the future.Maraika urhealth@bigpond.net.au

I don't believe so, but I worked with a guy who was a firm believer that you needed to be active and really sweat, even when you are sick, so you can sweat out the poisons in your system.
I would say that drinking lots of fluids and staying warm in bed would be a fantastic idea...much better than hitting the treadmill.

No, not really. Your body needs to rest up, it has fought hard to rid you of the illness. Lots of fluid and rest until you are at least five days out from the last day of symptoms.

light yoga, there are moves designed for increasing circulation to your lymphnodes and increasing your immune system. pick up a book at any bookstore.
