liver diease everything needing to know how to live and also what meds can be taken as for pain.?

someone that i know has been told they have liver diease and they are not dealing with this very well, they have a teenager and her life's partner. Also alot of pain from arthristis and pain in the legs as well, wanting to know what can be taken for pain that won't damage the liver anymore.

Definitely not Tylenol, it is metabolized in the liver and will be a real problem. Suggest that this question is best asked of your friend's doctor. There are new meds for arthritic pain, and the doc would know best which one your friend should take with the complication of liver disease.
