We just adopted a 5 year old Lhasa from a shelter. He is a great dog and behaves fairly well. However, he has had kennel cough and currently has an upper respiratory infection. He is not leash trained and no matter what I try, he keeps chocking himself by pulling on the leash. I have found tons of long term training ideas but I need to help me stop now. Any suggestions?

there is a leash I'm not sure of its exact name but its like a collar. it goes around there neck and a piece goes over their nose so as they pull it tightens a little and makes them slightly uncomfortable so they stop pulling it worked on my mastiff after a couple of days she stoped pulling it does not hurt them u can get it from ur local pet shop or vets it cost $25 (Australian dollars)
