Imagine there's no heavan, and no religions too
Imagine there's no country, nothing to live or die for,
Imagine all the people living life in peace
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you will join us,
and the world will be as one.
John Lennon said it all in the words of his song Imagine. I pray for peace every day. God's speed.

Very difficult as long as man refuses to seek for the truth.
God does not create trash outside our heart, if we keep on trying to eliminate it from the outside, the world will remain the same or even worse. Worse people are punishing bad people in the name of justice!
All evil come from our dark mind. When each individual learns to illuminate it, his thought, speech, action become good. Then the world becomes a little better. And the more mankind are illuminating, the more this earth will shine. This seems utopic, but it is eternally the sole solution for our planet. See how glorious were the Buddhist, Christian, Islamic... communities in their early histories. Yes, we have to learn anew the divine lessons from the One True God.

I understand the idea and reasons for this question. In an ideal world everyone would be honest and clean and loving and care for their fellow men. However, by the very suggestion of this, how can it work? Who decides who is a bigot, fool extremist, or hater ? Who decides who are decent minded peace loving people.? Remember the saying " One mans` freedom fighter, is another mans` terrorist " Who decides? Who is going to be God to-day? How do we know that we are good, unless we have other people who are bad to compare ourselves to? A fantasy idea, but totally impracticable.

Are they not souls right minded people - god fearing people should be saving? And they are no more 'creatures' than anyone on this forum and if you want to be in heaven then you will have to bide your time like the rest of us who try to leave the world a little better and hopefully no worse for our passing through. I think I can hear your sentiment but your wording could be better.

I dont believe Man is capable of producing peace while any still believe they are superiour in any way to anyone or anything!
Neither do I believe in a God who will come and do it for us.
All religions preach seek the truth and most have killed in the name of their God's too! If they merged into one belief and stopped fighting about what God is called and how He/She should be worshipped I might be able to believe a Deity existed! The only real hope I have is that maybe there is an existence after death here, that will be People living in harmony and yet still being able to be individuals!

I don't. All kinds of people make the world an interesting place to live in. When they're gone, the standard for what is considered "decent" will be raised, and you'll have a whole other group of people that others will want to get rid of. There's always going to be different points of view in this world that not everyone's going to agree with. I think it would be better to learn to cope with this kind of behavior rather than wish it gone.

If we would all just sweep up in front of our own front doors then the whole world would be clean. This means if you take care of your self and the people in your life and stop worrying about everyone else then the world would be a much better place.

No. It is not enough to eradicate hate and extremism; we need also to eliminate the causes of hate and extremism. Even the elimination today of everyone who wished ill upon another wouldn't stop tomorrow being full of them.
