why can't you make your own meals??? are you not allowed in the kitchen???

eat a high fiber cereal (Kashi brand is a good one, usually in the health food aisle, buy the one w 6 grams of fiber per serving) w non fat milk or soy milk (vanilla flavored is good) and some fruit (blueberries are yummy on the cereal). eat this every morning for breakfast and everyday right after getting home from school to get rid of the afternoon hunger pangs before dinner.

if you jog do about 40 to an hour per day... if you walk do about an hour and 15min per day at a quick pace. this will burn fat. to tone up your tummy do roll ups (a lot like crunches but smoother and more graceful without that jerk forward to pull yourself up, DO NOT put your hands behind you head and pull on your head and neck), lower leg lifts (lay on your back and lower your legs to the floor and back up DO NOT put your hands under your butt, keep them at your side) and criss cross (pull right shoulder to left knee, left shoulder to right, to work the side of the waist.

you have tight flat abs in no time.

good luck and have fun!

wat ever u do dont starve yourself just eat health foods like fruit and veg and if u drink soft drink every day dont only one can a week because soft drink as loads of calories instead drink lots of water its so good for your body and skin. u say u r 15 and dont cook your meals well im 16 and make my breakfast and lunch I used to buy my lunch at school but I stop doing it coz they had nothing healthy and I was putting on weigh so if u buy your lunch start making it at home its not that hard just make a salad the night before school and put it in one of those small containers or if there are any left over food from dinner.

Do at least 30min a day of exercising like running or it can be just walk because at least your doing some exercise if u don’t have much time on week days then do an hour on sat and Sunday run fast but not way fast then power walk then run again and do the same thing again. I would do it in the evening so its not so hot u can also do swimming so your body has a full work out

Shouldn’t restrict your self of to much food just remember that chips, soft drink, cake (actually some cakes are healthy), chocolate ect is a some times food so you can still eat them but just some times. And don’t try and loses so much weight in a month because if u don’t then u might feel disappointed in your self don’t have high expectations your not going to lose 10kg a day just eat and live healthy I hope I have helped u!

try and eat a variety of fruit and veg

It is a little complicated, but if you were to lose 5 pounds of fat, you would probably have to lose a total of about 10-15 pounds, because fat is only part of what is lost with weight loss.

To reduce the fat ratio, you would need to build muscle. The long-term benefits of having more muscle means that you will burn more fat, even when you are just sitting there at the computer.

If you want your body to have less fat, you will need to put less fat into it. Women have more body fat then men, so it isn't BAD to have fat on your body.

No excercise will take fat away from just one part of your body. It is used up from all parts of your body. I am sure you could lose 5 pounds in one month, but of pure fat, I doubt it.

You shouldn't worry about a time frame as far as this fat ratio is concerned. Do it in a healthy way, and you will be fine.

I would recommend walking to start, then build up slowly (over the course of a few months) to running. This did more for my abdominals than anything.

I'm finding it hard to believe you would have 30% body fat at 5ft4 and 120lb, unless you were sedentary with a very small frame.

Also if you use the callipers on an area where you tend to store more fat than everywhere else, then it may not be an accurate estimate of your overall body fat.

Which body fat scales are you using by the way?

Having 30% body fat is HEALTHY!!!! But if you insist on loosing fat, try replacing it with muscle. Start working out at your schools gym and do push ups and sit ups. Don't diet though becuase the fat percent won't go down much.

If your really woried ask your parents to take you to your doctor and they will be able to help you draw up a good plan that involves eating healthy (meaning your parents will have to provide you with nutricious food) and exersize. Most importantly though enjoy being who you are and enjoy being 15 years old. I wasted to much time in highschool thinking I was fat (when in reality I was under weight) and didn't get to enjoy my teen years.

Good Luck.

Stay away from pills and quick fixes. They don't work, and if they appear to work the affects rarely last.

Exercise is great. 3600 calories = 1 lb. Limit your calorie intake (eat good food, no junk food, sweets [including sodas and other empty calorie foods], chips, and such). Keep your calorie expenditure greater than your calorie intake, and you'll lose fat.

Make sure that you ignore the scale. The same volume of muscle weighs 3x more than fat. For accurate body fat measurements, go to a certified nutritionist or Dr who specializes in diets and eating.

Lots of Cardio.

And drink 1 full 8 oz. glass of water before
all meals. This keeps food consumption down, and helps a person eat in Moderation.
