This is a question for your pediatrican or physician. You do not say how old you are or what type of cancer that you had, or exactly how long ago this was, or if you have follow up care with a pediatric oncologist?

So, in general, here is my suggestion to you. Learn as much as you can about your specific disease. Look it up online. Talk to your doctor. Talk to other patients with this disease. Become an expert at this disease. Education will give you the knowledge you need. You need facts. Once you have facts, good or bad, you can deal with it. There is no sense in being terrified of something that may never happen. So find out the facts before wasting time worrying.

Good luck. I understand your fear, it is real, but you really need to have facts.

i am thinking that your much older then 4 months now.
based on that and the lack of return of the cancer the chances of the same cancer coming back are nil .
now well you have some worry that you say is about the return of cancer . i suspect that your fear is really just the mortality of all human life.
spend some time and ask your self what is it that is making you have concern about a terminal illness.

That depends on a lot of factors. What kind of cancer, how was it treated, how long it has been since cure. How well do you take care of yourself. The list goes on and on. The best thing you can do is educate yourself as much as you can on the cancer you had.

I had surgery and my Dr. assured me that during surgery they got it all after chemotherapy it has never come back. I am assuming that you have been seeing the Dr. for your check ups. Yes it can come back but it has been years unless someone else is typing this for you.
Just keep all Dr. appointments!
