I am borrowing a digital camera that has 2 dead rechargeable 1.2v Cybershot batteries. is it ok to put 2 Energizer Industrial 1.5v non rechargable batteries in it? that little change in voltage wont hurt anything will it?

no I do not have the recharger, that was the point of saying that the camera was borrowed.

If they fit then go for it, it won't hurt the camera. Just be sure to buy either lithium or very high performance batteries. You'll be surprised how quickly it eats them.

Don't you have a recharger with the cybershot. It comes with a recharger that you plug into the camera and into the outlet. I wouldn't try to use any other batteries than the one in the camera. Usually they are lithium rechargable batteries.

Lithium batteries do final longer. i admire utilizing any batteries that are rechargeable and that i take advantage of a fifteen minute charger so i don't have plenty down time with my digicam. universal batteries are extraordinarily plenty ineffective in digital cameras and could basically be used while their isn't any different decision.

will be ok. In fact standard voltage is the 1.5V but rechargeable batteries are able to deliver 1.2V only

no it doesn't matter what you use in it, digital cameras use a lot of battery power.
