My cat had that same problem. We changed the food many times, and about the tenth time we changed his food... he ate. So, I think your cat just may not like his or her food.

Get it different food. It might not like this food. If nothing, try to give it tuna or fish. If it continues not to eat, leave it along. Pour exactly a cup of the new food in it's bwol of food. Leave the food for a day. Then measure it. If there is less than what you started with, the cat ate! If it is the same, then the cat is not eating. If the answer is not eating, give it wet food. Cats love it. Force the cat to eat it. Gently open it's mouth. Use a tiny spoon and gently pour the food in its mouth. Now shut the mouth. Whatever you do, don't let it spit out the food. If it still doesn't eat, Visit a vet again.

Who chose the food that you're currently trying to feed him? I would suggest letting him do the picking as he is the one who will ultimately be the one eating it. =)

Place bowls of different kinds of kitty foods in front of him (wet, dry, moist, whatever) when it's feeding time. Let him sniff them all out and see what he likes. That will give you an idea of what he would want to eat. Once you figure that out, start mixing in his chosen food into the current food that you are feeding him. Incorporate a little more every day until it is 100% the food that he picked. Just don't change the food too fast on him because it may put his digestive tract all out of whack.

They say that cats, if nothing is wrong with them, will eat sooner or later if they get hungry. Just make sure to get SOMETHING in his system if he still refuses to eat any of the food that you put out for him. If he doesn't choose any of the food samples you put out and doesn't eat any of the food that's in his dish...try a little human food or tuna. If he won't take to those, then bring him to a different vet because it would mean that something has to be out of whack.

This sounds gross but has worked before, get smelly fish cat food, tuna or sardines. Put a plate of this in front of the kitty and scratch right at the base of his tail. It triggers something from kittenhood and makes them want to lick or eat. Try it it usually works

Once in a while you have to spoil them....I give meat baby food. like turkey or chicken provided it does not have onion powder in it. Not good for cats. Sometimes when they can't smell the food they go off food. like an upper resp infection. Other times a vet will perscribe an appetite pill. good luck

some cats wont eat a certain kind of food. I found that my cats like the more expensive food. So maybe try buying a bag of some expensive food.

You're cat is anorexic. But just put some cake infront of him for a while, he'll snap out of it.
