as a spiritualist who believe in spirit communication , you can imagine the amount of misconeptions there are abotu my beliefs
the main ones are that we are in communication with demons...
this is so far from the truth ... spirit are beautiful and bring people closer to God ( i would not understand what demons would get out of doing that if it were them )
people also believe we do seances or call spirit in some way and that we are disturbing them .... we never call spirit , we open to spirit and if spirit wish to come they will .... that is why no one should promise a specific spirit
there are so many that this is just the tip of the iceberg with misconceptions
but i am always thankful of the opportunity to speak up about them
thank you xx

None. However, the biggest misconception in "Christian" churches involves the identity of God. At John 17:3, Jesus called his Father the ONLY true God. At John 3:16, it says that God sent his son to the world. But despite all of that, some people STILL believe that Jesus is God in the flesh. Go figure.

Well, Atheism isn't a religion, but I can say this:
1) We aren't satanists or evil
2) Not all of us have had a "bad" experience with Christianity
3) We can't go to hell, because we don't believe it exists.
4) Not all of us believe in evolution (I do, but not all).
5) Darwin isn't a god.
6) Just because I don't believe in organized religion, doesn't mean I don't have morals, know the difference between right and wrong, and don't believe I should be good person.

That no one practices our belief outside of New England. I am a Unitarian Universalist. We believe in the right to let everyone regardless of thier religous belief come together in one house of worship in order that we may all learn from each other. There is no pressures in our society, you are able to speak your mind and do as you wish. But those who have not heard of us think that we are only a small amount of people however we have more than 1,000 congerations.

That a born again Christian can be more righteous by what one does, after first born of God.
When people think that they should do this or that and then expect others to do this and that also.
Pastor has preached that nothing we can do or not do will make us more righteous than when we were first born of God. It is His redeeming blood that is our righteousness.

That we don't make decisions for ourselves and we walk around like zombies like we are all brain dead, I resent that ......I have a college education, and have my own business, and my own home, and make all my own decisions I don't go to my pastor ,or the church before I do something, I pray for guardians everyday...not because I cant do it on my own, but because I want God involved in my life.....I've been blessed by him in all that I've done since I have excepted him as my Savior.

That just because we believe makes us uneducated, brainwashed psychopaths that enjoy forcing our beliefs on others to fulfill our own sense of worth.
I simply believe because I was an athiest that received a miracle.
