There are injection premixes and loads of recipes I have found thy have little impact on flavor other than to make the bird salty. Personally I rise and thoroughly dry the bird then fry in peanut oil (4 minutes a pound) then when its resting apply poultry seasoning or simply salt and pepper - the peanut oil imparts a lovely flavor and it really needs no more.

The ones I have done I injected white wine and butter plus what ever else sounds good just take out anything to big to go through the injector needle first. As far a saftey having the right amount of oil is the key Tonight put the unopened bird in the cooker then fill with water, then take the turkey out make a mark on the inside of the cooker something to scratch it a little that is how far up your oil needs to go no more or it could over flow.

When deep frying a turkey you really do not need to inject it with anything for moisture. I believe that it cooks for 15 mins a pound.
But if you choose to inject it with anything, I suggest garlic butter.
And be very careful. Good Luck! and Happy Thanksgiving.

Frying a turkey is extremely dangerous. A fire could flare up so easily if the turkey is still wet or if there is too much oil in the pot. I'd stick to roasting.
