I'd love to be in an inter-racial relationship with an Asian or European guy because I like different cultures from my own. Would this offend black guys, or anybody else, and why??

Doesn't bother me. I don't care who you date. Just as long as it's a healthy relationship then I see no reason anyone should have a problem with it

As a person involved in an inter-racial relationship I would not be offended. Anyone who would be offended is the one who should feel wrong. We've come to far as human beings to be worried about a person's race. If you are uncomfortable then don't worry. I am white and my girlfriend is Korean. At first I thought about it some but after 3 years together I forget that there is a race difference. to be offended is to be racist. At this point I can't see how anyone could logically find it offensive.

haha i wanted to try the inter-racial thing too. well i say it would offend black guys and other ethniticities if they are against it and also b/c it's a natural reaction for someone to think "what is she/he doing with an outsider?". But then i'm sure it wouldn't offend all black guys and other ethniticities b/c there are others in this world that think the same as you. Besides it seems black guys date outside their race more than black girls do and never get any real lip from people, so why shouldn't we for a change.

I guess that depends on the situation, I mean do you want that type of relationship because you don't like blackmen, or don't feel they can't provide you w/ a satisfying relationship? I mean that could be very offensive, also some people may find it offensive that you seem to have forgotten the fact that white people stole, enslaved, killed, raped, sold, used and abused black people over 400 years ago and even now, some look at it as a slap in their face and the faces of our ancestors.

Personally I like to see black people with each other. But I don't get offended by seeing black people with other races. It's not that big of a deal. As long as you are in a happy and healthy relationship thats all that matters.

I'm a Black female, and I am not offended. Most Black guys wouldn't care, but there are some that would be very offended. Be prepared for the stares, rude comments, etc.

Depends upon your motivation. If you choose to be with someone who is a different race or ethnic group than you, don't just do it for the novelty of it or that it is a "cool" kind of relationship. First and formost, develop relationships with people that you truly care about and who care about you.

If you just want to be with that person for what he is rather than who he is, that is offensive. Being with someone of a different race is not a problem if they both care about each other.
