no. i was in a miserable marriage for ten years. and every day of those 10 years, i put on my happy face and faced the world. i thought that if i could convince everyone that i was happy, then i might actually be happy...inside thought i was numb and sad...

Not always. Looks can be decieving sometimes. When I was a teen I had the whole "gothic rock" look going. My friends told me that before they were friends with me, they thought I was really mean and they were scared of me. But when anyone approched me in high school or where ever I was totally open to meeting new people. Never hostile or anything like that, they just thought so because of my appearance. The person that looks happy could very well be happy. Or they could be the exact opposite just trying to hide it all. If youre concerned then you should just ask them, "Are you happy?"

Nope at all, some people are really easy to fool people around smile laugh show the happy person that everyone is happy to see but inside can be so dark and sad like never you can imagine or you get the person that is happy and it doesnt show it

I read a book once on exactly this - let's put it this way, looks are only one point to watch. There are a whole bunch more, how the person treats others, what the person tends to talk about, how is his/her property, how does the person treat good news, bad news and more.
It isn't too complex but there are more factors than just looks. I strongly suggest the book. Looks, Speech and environment (property and others around the person) are the main points though. The books is called Science of Survival.

If someone seems happy from the outside, they might /might not be happy on the inside. I do it all the time, and people say that I'm always happy from my appearance.

Nope, not at all. Some of the people that are the most sad or unhappy are the ones who act happy.

oh no way. Some people can hide their feelings very well. those that you see smiling and happy all the time might not feel that way inside. Some people can "mask a smile" if you get what i mean.

This is not always the case, as they could be saying one thing and thinking something else. It's a sad fact of life, but that is how some people are.

no because looks can be fake and many people are actors and they put on a good face. behind a smile or happy face can be almost anything.

Not necessarily! someone could be putting on a front and not letting on that they aren't happy for a fear of being put down!
