Ok, i dont know how to spell it but it's your sciatic (umm...sigh+attic for pronounciation) nerve....muscles in your lower back are swollen and are rubbing against it when you move just the right (or wrong is more like it) way. if it goes away after you sleep or dont move for a long time then you probably just need to make sure you lift correctly and dont strain your lower back, if it's a constant issue i'd suggest seeing a chiropractor.....sorry for the horrible spelling, but i think you know what i mean :)

I suffer from almost the same, well, severe and debilitating pelvic and lower back pain on a daily basis that I take a very high dose of vicodin for because I have a horrid female condition called endometrosis. How are your periods? Do you have a history of cysts? That would be my first guess, but there is probably perhaps a half dozen other explanations for your pain but I have heard your symptoms because that of endometrosis IF your periods and fertility is affected. Good luck and I pray you find out what is causing your pain and make it go away. <><

Your pain radiating down the left leg might be associated with sciatica which is some kind of irritation or injury to the sciatic nerve on your left side. Have your back evaluated to rule out disc damage.I hope you get better soon and take steps to limit the damage.

Sounds like the sciatic nerve acting up. You likely have some degeneration of the joints in the lower spine and hips. A visit to the doctor will involve x-rays and possibly an MRI to see what is happening.

Best Wishes,

Sue

Sounds very much like the sciatic nerve, something pressing on it. Be careful of the way you lift stuff for a few days and I find taking two Iboprufen always get rid of it for a while.

Pinched Sciatic nerve. The pain rarely goes down both legs. It is usually one or the other.

A good Chiropractor can stop the pain or you can go the traditional route and get surgery. I would try chiroprators before cutting though.

It sounds like you have pinched a nerve in your back. This can be handled in a short amount of time. Of course you will need a physician to diagnose your situation and maybe even have a MRI done as soon as possible. They don't correct themselves.

Is it in the back of your leg? Sciatica maybe? Or some kind of pinched nerve? You might benefit from chiropractic treatment.
