yes its safe to use the salicylic acid breaks down the bonds between the dead surface cells and the micro crystals help to remove the dead skin cells from the surface
just be careful not to rub too much or use more often than it recommends
one word of warning try not to get any in your eyes

yes, it's safe, they are just two different kinds of exfoliants. if you have sensitive skin though it might irritate and make your face all red and blotchy. why not try scrubbing with the microdermabrasion crystals to remove surface debris, rinse, then wash with the salicylic acid cleanser, let it sit on your face for a minute and rub it around a little more before rinsing it off. my dermatologist told me to do this with my soap to let it really cleanse the pores.

If it is sold as a dermabrasion kit it should be fine. If not then maybe for safety dont mix them...;
