No. I dated a 20 year old at 16, which is legal also. However I wouldn't recommend it! Having been both 17 and 20, the two are at totally different stages in life, and mindset. Get a nice 18 year old...
Legal age of consent is 14. Statutory rape charges can be brought against anyone 4 years older than that person, up to the age of 18. Your man is not a minor (18 years in Canada), and is only 3 years older than you.
