I love these Big Soft Sugar Cookies 1 cup margarine 2 cups white sugar 2 eggs 1 cup milk 5 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 (16 ounce) can vanilla ready to spread frosting colored candy sprinkles Directions Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time mixing well after each. Combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda; stir into the sugar mixture alternately with the milk. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Space cookies at least 3 inches apart. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until light brown. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks. When completely cool, frost with vanilla frosting and sprinkle with candy sprinkles.

WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA COOKIES
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
10 ounces white chocolate, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts, lightly toasted
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy. Add egg; mix well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture. Blend in vanilla. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Cover and chill dough for 1 hour. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls about 3 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350F for 13-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand a few minutes before removing cookies to a wire rack to cool. Yhield: about 2-1/2 dozen

Chill the dough thoroughly. Roll out very thin, about 1/8-inch and cut with cookie cutters. Bake, on ungreased cookie sheets, in a preheated 350ø oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not over bake or the cookies will burn.
OATMEAL COOKIES ingredients: *1 egg *½ cup fine oatmeal

2. Add just enough flour to roll.
3. Cut into shapes as desired.
4. Sprinkle with brown sugar, and bake in a moderate oven (380 degrees F.).

1 tablespoon water
1/4 cup molasses
2 tablespoons white sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, then stir in the water and molasses. Gradually stir the sifted ingredients into the molasses mixture. Shape dough into walnut sized balls, and roll them in the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar. Place the cookies 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet, and flatten slightly. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
FUDGE COOKIES
1 can Eagle Brand milk
2 tsp. butter
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Melt chocolate chips and butter on low heat. Stir and add Eagle Brand milk, flour, nuts and vanilla. Cool -- spoon by teaspoon on greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.

Preheat oven to 350° F. Beat margarine, both sugars, eggs, and peanut butter until creamy. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Makes 9 dozen.
