Spend the $200 it will cost you to get a saliva test. These are 100% more accurate than blood tests. Insurance does not cover this, and that is why some Doctors do not tell you about it, they do not want to be stuck with the bill. Look into it! It maybe the best $200 you ever spent!

Hey, me too!
Pneumonia since September ....hospital three times..doctor's office twice...several x-rays....two rounds of kick*ss antibiotics, painkillers, inhalers.....

Now I have some nasty virus, on top of the pneumonia!

I haven't had the vision problem though, and the aches and pains werre only duing the first few weeks for me. I've thrown up a lot from coughing so hard and so much.

A neighbour of mine who's almost two has also been sick for 6-7 weeks, and is on antibiotics.

Weird.

do u have an eating dissorder? this could be the problem if u do. i dont see why your insurance wont pay for the blood test! i would get a new insurance company if i were u. this isnt just pneumonia, i would get the blood test anyway. it could be that ur diabetic, have cancer, or maybe ur just EXTREMLY dehydrated or extreamly tired. i would really concider that blood test to know for sure. it shouldnt cost too too much. i would rather pay for a blood test than to get this problem worse and then have to pay for a bunch of tests.
Good luck, ill be praying for u! God Bless

It sounds like you could have something serious....I agree with those who advised to fork over the cash and have the tests done. You can most likely pay them out over several billings.
