I would assume that they do, but I don't know for sure. I would guess that this is one place that they would, since most people want an ID, etc.
I agree that if you or someone you know has warrants out, it would be in your best interest to take care of them ASAP. They longer they go the worse it may be!!

I don't know. Do you need to renew it and have warrants out? Face the music or it will haunt you the rest of your life. Turn yourself in and deal with it. Then get your new ID.

Each state is different. Where I'm from they don't run you for warrants if your renewing you D.L.
