My hair is very very thick, and i cannot relax it because of constant damage in the past. Im trying to grow my perm out and i would love to have long hair that isnt hard to take care of. Friends have told me about dominican oils that can do this but i need to know the process and wat it really does to your hair. Me and my mother don't know wat to do with my hair except for braids. Also i have the bone structure for long hair and me and my mother need something that works.(African American)

You should go to a salon and have them flat iron it and then ask for products that would keep it straight without the chemicals. The dr miracles products work really well and keep the hair moisturized without any excess grease. they are not that expensive and some wal-marts carry them. Also if you get your ends trimmed every 6 weeks that should get it to grow faster.

Okay, i'll try to help i have different textures of hair some is very fine and some is thick. First i'd say no to perms period. Relaxers yes.But you can't use that so anyway. But i've never found long hair easy to manage my hair used to be down my back (now it's about 3 inches below shoulders)
Tcb hair conditioner is great to make your hair soft and easy to comb through. Since your hair is damaged you shouldn't straigten it with hot iron. Try combing through it with a comb and low setting of your blow dryer. If you do have to use a straigting iron keep it on low setting. *it won't make hair super straigh *like barbie hair but it will look nice. thick and straight** Also trim off any dead/split ends.

Sweetie, I'm not black or have to deal with your type of hair. However I want to say that I've been seeing a lot of creative braiding with black hair. Why not give that a try? It seems to last well and looks so high stylish.

Maybe you can try Jojoba oil. If you would like to grow your hair natrually, you could also try twisting it and just letting it grow. You don't have to let it lock up if you don't want to, you can get it twisted once per month, take it down, wash it, and re-twist it, with a mixture of beeswax and shea butter, it'll grow down your back!

Girl go to the salon and let them take care of your hair. Stop trying to do it yourself. Nothing that doesn't involve chemicals we keep your hair straight. You can press with a hot iron but that is about it.
