it's deep mud there's mud for about 1/2 mile around me

If you were goofing around in someone's field, you better call the tow truck before he calls the police.

Otherwise, you'll need good towing straps and a buddy to come over (preferably with 4WD). Even if the mud dried out, you aren't pushing a car that far on a bumpy surface.

If you think that you just need to go back a little bit, pull your floormats out and put them under your drive tires and try to get out.

You call around until you find a tow company with a mud cat 4 wheel drive recovery unit, and then you open your wallet real wide.

A local farmer pulled mine out with a tractor when I got stuck. Although, I wasn't that far into the mud patch.

if your around a farm just make nice with a farmer and offer him 20 bucks to pull you out....way cheaper then when the wrecker shows up
