Hi everyone, I want to learn german but the thing is I'm an 8th grader and we have german at my school from 10th grade...I want to learn it now, any sites or free e-books? I would like some sites with audio becuase german is hard to pronounce. I don't need a translator site because I have one already. Thanks.

Sure. Several companies produce language learning tools which can be downloaded or ordered as CDs (which I think is better). Transparent Language, Linguaphone, and Word Ace come to mind. If you don't like buying over the 'Net, both Staples and Office Depot sell language instruction CDs. You'll need a C\PC with audio, but you probably knew that.

Hi,
I really want to learn german as well so i can relate. If you want to learn basic words go to the yahoo translater or google translation. You can get those translating CDs as well. Look at books and on the internet. My friend taught me 'ich han innen sein' and it means can i be in but i don't know what you would use that for. To get lots of sites about german language you should go to google and type in german translating and lots of sites come up. Here is the link for the google search:

Hope this helps!!

Your public library may have German language tapes that you can check out.
