You need to pick its name but here are some ideas: How does the tiny baby make you feel when you see and hold or play with him? Do you have a favorite character in a play or story you have read that reminds you of your new pet. Example: Merlin; Wizard or a name from Harry Potter's novels. Maybe a Disney character/Silver Fox. Your choice just remember that what ever name you chose that baby will love you unconditional and dependent on you for his care.

I'm partial to the name Mickey, because my first cat had that name and he was a sweetheart. He was also a grey striped tiger and lived to be 18 yrs old.

Sherbet, Clay-Dough!, Xray, Buddy, Bart, Ratattat, Bingo, Bongo, Eureka. I.Q., Ice, Ebay, Checkers, Wings.
I know short names are best for pets. Less confusing to them. So best to stick with a singluar or dbl pronunciation.

Charlie. I love the name Charlie for a feisty cat.
Hunky. My neighbor's cat is named Hunky and the name fits him well. He's a Grey cat also.

i name all my pets human names that kind of go with their characteristics... i have a sassy cute little cat named Ruby, a big fat lovey but moody orange long haired cat named Sylvia, and a roly poly little black pug puppy named Ellie.
i also had parakeets named Peter and Charles.
i would name him Rocky or Roscoe, or something you think a sassy old man would be named.
