Typically called the rotor if you are talking about a generator, but many electrical machine have a rotating member that is not a rotor. Some have shafts, flywheels, etc.

Do you mean something like a motor / alternator / dynamo?
Things like stator, rotor, field coils, slip rings, brushes, etc?
If not, lpease explained what sort of "rotating electricval machine" - a tumble dryer? Washing machine ?
