Hi there...consider Nature's Miracle for Cats. It's an enzymatic neutralizer which breaks down the urine proteins by soaking the affected areas thoroughly and then allowing to air dry. Repeated applications may be necessary for heavily soiled areas.

This is the only thing I have tried that works. It's a home made solution. 16 oz. bottle of peroxide, two small drops of dish detergent and two table spoons of baking soda. If you have old stains you may have to repeat two or three times. Pour the solution on the area and let it dry natrually. After it is completely dry spray on some of that enzyme spray. I buy that at Walmart or petsmart. Oh,test a spot before you pour the solution.

clean the spot with vinegar to neutralize it to the cat's nose and then try something like simply green or simple solution or febreeze to kill the smell to your nose. A cat's nose is much more sensitive than ours. Then to try and encourage your cat to use the box switch to dr. elsey's cat attract litter. You can only buy that in pet stores, but it works wonders. I have a cat who was abused before we got her and we switched to that litter and let her do her own thing and it got her using the box when she never had before.

Try putting a box of baking soda near the area where it smells. Or if its in a rug, make an extremely diluted solution and rub it in and dry with a paper towel.

Have you tried Vinegar? Try mixing it with some water, but if your using it on furniture, test to make sure the color won't bleed.
