So there is this guy at school who has no clue I like him but I really do! He's the athletic and really nice and cool! How would you respond if one of your friends that is a girl told you that she likes you? HELP!

baby girl, all you have to do is say" hi, how's going" just to break the ice. if he shows any sign of interest in you, then he'll continue the conversation. that's really all you have to do.

Talk to him! I don't know that just coming out with it would be the absolute best thing, but you should get a pretty clear idea by how he reacts and talks to you in general if he's interested. Find a mutual interest (a show coming up, a party, a film, whatever) talk about that, see if he wants to go with you, go in a group if you're really unsure. Believe me, he'll get the idea even if he's the dense athletic type and either something will happen or it won't. Don't beat yourself up if it doesn't, there are many out there (it's the truth) — just enjoy getting to know him and having fun and don't focus (and worry) about everything else so much.

I'd instantly have respect for her because it takes a lot for someone to admit to having those kinds of feelings for someone.
I'd be open and honest about my feelings for her whether they be platonic or romantic and take things carefully so if the romance failed the friendship would survive.

I guess the only way you can find out is by telling him how you feel about him, express your feelings to him and if he is equally interested in you after hearing how you feel about him he will pursue you. If he's interested than, this way you will not pursue him and then you will look at him differently

I have always been flattered by a women stepping up and going after what she wants.
If he is mature he will respect you for that whether his answer is "yes" or "no."
