You can't get your credit score for "free". You have to pay or join some kind of service and jump through their hoops.

What you can do is get your credit REPORT for free. This link is the only place you can get your credit report for free with no strings attached.

Unfortunately I don't believe there is a place online to get your credit score without joining any services. I have the numbers for all 3 credit bureaus, and they are required by LAW to give you a free credit report if you request one:
Equifax: 1-866-798-6598
Experian: 1-800-734-4617
TransUnion: 1-800-888-4213

If you live in the US go to www.annualcreditreport.com This is the result of Congress passing a law to give consumers one free credit report frome each bureau Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union per year. You do not get scored for free you have to pay for it but all of the info on your report is given to you for free. Good Luck
