i have always heard hearing an owl at night mean a sign of death. . my son had just left the house with my husband just after they drove away he called back and told me to look out the window in the front yard and see what was on the back of the 4x4 Rhino he had parked by the front porch . when i looked there sit an owl on the back bed of the Rhino. it looked around then flew across the street in the neighbors garage and flew out i was wondering what that means to see a owl in your yard..?

As I recall as far as bird signs go, owls mean you need to pay attention to details and such around you because there is some info you need. Owls are signs of knowledge or the necessity of knowledge. While I don't believe in any of this (sometimes a bird is just a bird), if you choose to believe to my understanding the only bird you have to worry about is a black crow flying on your left side. If it flies on your right side you are in for a defeat but you'll live, if on your left side and not flying you'll be seriously hurt, and on your left side and flying is death. But again, I would argue a bird is just a bird.

Um that is if a crow is at your window Owl's are good luck signs and not meant to mean any harm

Owls are a good thing, they keep the rodents in check from the streets. I don't think you will die if you see a owl in the middle of the night.

yes sometimes it means death but he is probably just someones pet you should go around your neighborhood and ask people if they have a pet owl if not call animal control that always works

there are many romours that seeing an owel in ur yard is somthing bad and something bad willl happen to u, but come on u know it means nothing.... i may tell u that u'll have a bda day, but i would be saying that just for the fun of it, and u know that...
