Broccoli Casserole is a very good dish that lots of people like and is fairly easy to do.You cook 2 bags of broccoli by boiling it in water until tender. Then Drain the water off.Place broccoli in a large bowl add 2 cups shredded cheese, 2 cans cream of chicken , 1/4 cup milk, and 2 tablespoons of butter.Mix this all up together. Then place this mixture in a casserole dish.Next take 1/2 cup of butter and melt it in microwave(make sure your cup is microwave safe) Pour the butter over 1 roll of Ritz crackers in a bowl.Next spread the cracker and butter mix over the casserole.Bake in preheated 350 until crackers are browned. This is something that will impress them. You just can't fail at this and it is delicious.Just be careful draining the broccoli and putting casserole dish in and out of the oven.Have fun and Happy Thanksgiving!

Sounds like the stove/oven will be busy, so here's an easy recipe that everyone at my house likes:
Watergate Salad
1 8-ounce tub of Cool Whip
2 4-serving sized boxes of Pistachio-flavored pudding mix
2 cups of mini marshmellows
2 20-ounce cans of crushed pineapple with juice (don't drain!)
1 cup of chopped pecans, if desired
Mix everything together in a large bowl, chill for at least 1 hour.

You can do several things, make a pasta salad that is your own special concoction, like:
1. boil pasta (fun shape), add some lettuce or spinach, then add one or two or three of the following: canned veggies like corn/black olives/artichoke hearts/sun dried tomatoes/avocado, be creative just don't over do it. Then add your favorite dressing/ ranch, Caesar....toss then top with a cheese like feta/Parmesan....
This green bean recipe is wonderful:
1 pound green beans (fresh/frozen)
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup of water
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
combine g-beans/onion soup mix/water, cook over low heat until g-beans are tender. Drain and spoon g-beans into serving dish/stir in butter and almonds top with cheese.....yum
you will have them begging you to make it again

I'm doing the dinner rolls. So much better than brown and serve. It's kinda time consuming, but if started the night before, it's well worth it. Besides, you can shape them into many different types of rolls. Here are some links to different recipes, some telling you how to shape them.

let them make sausage balls. You take a package of ground sausage meat, Bisquick, cheddar cheese and roll into balls and put into oven. It is easy and they put their hands in it. You serve it as an appetizer until dinner is ready. You can get a recipe from the Bisquick site.
