Most people will suggest exotic tropical locales. But it really depends on what you are into. Do you want to be adventurous or do you want to relax? Do you prefer hot or cold weather?
If you want to relax and sit on the beach the whole time, look for a tropical locale. Riviera Maya in Mexico is said to have the #2 best beach in the world (in Tulum) as was mentioned by Travel Channel I think. They also have water activities, hiking in the jungle, Mayan ruins.
If you're into skiing or snowboarding, maybe look into Whistler, BC, Jackson Hole, or Aspen. All of which have other winter activities.
Bali and Thailand both are said to have gorgeous beaches and sightseeing. The British Isles have historic castles for sightseeing. I've even heard New Zealand mentioned many times as an excellent honeymoon destination which has a bit of everything.
Figure out what you can afford and what fits your personalities and interests.

It would depend on what you can afford and whether you are looking to get out of the country or stay in the US. If you do want to get out of the country:Canada, Australia, England, or Scotland would be good choices but, I would personally recommend Aruba. I have been to Aruba myself and the best part is the weather is fairly nice all year round.
If you are looking for somewhere in the 50 states here are some choices: Wisconsin Dells, Yellowstone National Park, Death Valley, Reno, Las Vegas, Key West, Hollywood, Miami, Chicago, but I would recommend Miami.
Ultimately it is up to you and you spouse. I hope this answer helps you to make a decision!!

I think it really depends on what your interests are - do you like the beach? city expoloing? etc....
For myself I would be interested in a warm sunny place where we can get plenty of privacy and have fun but be able to relax... The caribbean is certainly an easy place to get to (on the eastern half of the country). Try visiting places like applevacations.com for descriptions of inexpensive packages.
For us, we are doing a destination wedding to the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana or La Romana) but there were several places that looked very enticing to me like St. Lucia, Belize, Martinique...
If you want to do the Europe thing some romantic cities I have been to would be Prague, Paris, Nice, Amalfi Coast... but there is tons... but it also depends on the time of year you want to go... Maybe if you reposted your question with a little more information as to when you are getting married and what you and your future spouse are interested in doing you could get some really good suggestions.
But it is really it is worth looking at some websites to get a feeling for what you are interested in. fodors.com is an excellent site as well as lonelyplant.com
good luck!

i would go somewhere that you both havent been before, this way yous can experience it for the frist time together. Go somewhere that others usually dont go, I know a lot of people go to Hawii, Mexic, Flordia, Cuba. But I would go somewhere different, that way when you come back others want to know more, because they havent been. Go somewhere like italy, germany, switzerland. Really depending on where you live now, go to the futhers place ever from there, you only get married once (we plan) so go somewhere far and see the world.

I would strongly suggest an all-inclusive resort or cruise.
On your honeymoon, you want an opportunity to relax and enjoy each other. All-inclusive venues/trips take away all the planning and time consuming tasks. They take care of everything! From dining to activities to excursions.
We chose Sandals' Royal Bahamanian Resort and Spa in Nassau, Bahamas. It was a WONDERFUL experience. The service, food and accommodations were phenomenal. I had a great time and had a chance to enjoy my new husband. We are already counting down the days until our next visit!
Good luck. Hope this helps! :-)

Peurto Rico. Awesome and tickets are affordable. Or, if you got the dough, St. Thomas Island and Trunk Bay. They have the whitest sand and the bluest water on the planet.

Don't blow all your money on the honeymoon. You should just go somewhere that the two of you can have some time together and do some fun stuff together. A good idea that my brother did was, they just went to the beach and stayed in a nice little condo, and since many of their friends were down there they had people to go to dinner with. Because lets face it, no one wants to spend a week straight with one person even if you did just marry them.

We rented a studio apartment on the beach in Tampa Florida. We didn't have much money but we had a good time.
Some dear friends of mine rented a cabin up in the mountains. (spring time) They said it was wonderful.
Hawaii is over rated and crowded. Paris was fun, but my husband is fluent in french.
