I feed my dogs raw liver, especially when they are convalescing.. Too much is harmful though, (produces too much uric acid) but in moderation it is fine.

Occasionally!!! Only, the smell is a treat and I give it to my boxer's maybe 2 times a year. I raise chicken, ducks and other fowl, and living where I do........I don't want to offend lover's of pet fowls, but It is a life, and to tell you the truth I love liver also. My Boxer's like it, but as anything different they will woolf it down without thinking. I am glad we have trained them not to bother the fowls though. Again occasionally is ok for my pets.

Yes, I give it to mine occasionally as a treat.

But usually the first time you give it to them, they kinda look at it like "WTF?" Then they try it and they love it.
