it's not GREEN BEAN CASUAL..... lol It's called a CASSEROLE.
You make it by using green beans, cream of mushroom soup, frenchs onions and some milk.
I make it with french style beans and it is awesome. It gets requested every year my my dad and at my work parties. Also, trying using cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic (Capmbells).
Ingredients:
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) CAMPBELL'S® Cream of Mushroom Soup
3/4 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 cans green beans, (drained)
1 1/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions, divided
Directions:
1. Combine soup, milk and pepper in a 1 1/2 -quart baking dish; stir until blended. Stir in beans and 2/3 cup French Fried Onions.
2. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until hot. Stir. Sprinkle with remaining 2/3 cup onions. Bake 5 minutes or until onions are golden

INGREDIENTS
2 (14.5 ounce) cans green beans, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (6 ounce) can French fried onions
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place green beans and soup in a large microwave-safe bowl. Mix well and heat in the microwave on HIGH until warm (3 to 5 minutes). Stir in 1/2 cup of cheese and heat mixture for another 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer green bean mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle with French fried onions and remaining cheese.
Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven until the cheese melts and the onions just begin to brown.
FYI - DO NOT try to get away with frozen green beans in this casserole.

GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE..... Use either kind, it's great no matter what style beans you use. I put Cream of Mushroom soup, and top with the french fried onion rings....MMMM GOOD!
As for the cold pies, DO NOT bake the PUDDING. just brown the crusts by themselves, and after they've cooled, put in your PUDDING and WHIPPED cream

yes, bake the crust first unless it is a graham cracker crust. those need no baking.
it is a casserole, not casual. french style green beans are best for that.

To make a green bean casual.. I would dress it in a pair of jeans and a polo shirt, you know nothing too nice... just casual. Maybe a pair of tennis shoes or sandals.
Sorry you left the door wide open for it.

I think all beans should wear suits, they look much better. How did you get the cream so dirty that it needs wiping?
