What's wrong with ProActiv? I'm assuming that you have used it without success. Anyways, it's important to use a gentle cleanser and wash your face no more than two times a day. Overwashing or harsh scrubbing will only aggravate your skin and produce more pimples. Also, don't use too many products. Use a gentle cleanser and either a benzoyl peroxide product, like Clearasil, or one with Salicylic Acid, like Clean and Clear.

Wash your pillowcases often and don't rub your face with your dirty fingers.

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://www.facemaster.net/thefacemasterc... that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Try Neutrogena acne washes or Clinique. Clinique is a little bit more expensive, but I've had the best luck with it myself. I use the body wash by Neutrogena, and by Clinique I use the soap and spray. Good luck and also try looking at their websites. They might help you to choose a product that is right for you and your lifestyle. Happy Thanksgiving!

sweets, fatty foods, soda: cutting things like that out and keeping your skin constantly clean should do the trick unless the acne is on a deeper level. then medical help would have to be considered. you didn't like the pro activ?

I found that cleansers with benzoyl peroxide worked best for me, i used a spot cream with it and also a cleanser twice a day. This can dry out your skin so be sure to use a oil free, non condemogenic moisturizer, to prevent break outs due to your skin being too dry...good luck!

Use black save (from a pharmacey or herb shop) and drink more water, less sugars. Wash your face 3 times a day and use witch hazel to clean your pores. My daughter was drinking alot of soda's and she switched to just water and they cleared up in 3 days.

Good luck!

Wash your face with a mild soap and water at least twice daily. After you wash each time, use an astringent liquid. Apply it with a cotton ball very liberally. this will help if you stick to doing this regularly. good luck!

get some plain white tooth paste and rub it on your pimples[that'll dry up the oil in the pimple so the pimple will go down]. then go to the drug store and get some St.Ives Apricot Scrub for acne.

have you tried hydrocortsone cream? One with moisturizers works well for me. I put it on in the morning and at night... the reason for this is because if you have tried many differ ant things with no success then you might have an allergy that is causing it.
