It sounds like you have been soding around for years, think of the time wasted that you might have had together. Or is this the thrill of the chase for both of you?
If you are interested then I think you will find we men are very simple, call him up, ask him if he is doing anything on Saturday and then ask him out on a date.
End of story.

He's 28 and this is going on? I've been there before, and trust me, if he isn't putting his money where his mouth is then he's just playing around, and you need to look elsewhere for a relationship. By that I mean that if he isn't consistently making plans with you (and not "maybe" plans but definite ones) and asking you to date HIM EXCLUSIVELY, then he is not interested in having a relationship.

You let him know you were interested - if he was serious about dating you, he would have jumped at the opportunity to secure a date with you. He's been pursuing you for years you say - he probably finds you attractive, and liked pursuing you, but never intended to have a real relationship. I'm 28 and I've been through guys like this. By chance is his name Andy? Ha ha.

you want a relationship.....he just wants an F buddy. Text messages mean nothing. Isn't that what girls normally tell guys? Its laughable when you guys get a taste of your own medicine.

I'm pleased to see that you Brits have managed to exceed in slaughtering the English language. What took you so long? The youth of American is miles ahead of you on this. Now it appears that you're running neck in neck.

Good show!

Both of you are playing the Cat and the Mouse. Invite him to go out, and see what can happen from there.

Grow some balls and ask her out for a specific date and time...she is flirting and wants you to make the first move.

Why don't you hang-up the phone, forget the damned text message, and go talk to the poor conversationally-challenged girl??!!
