My man bought me a gift for my birthday in July, I've used it a couple times but I don't really like it. Would it be tacky to give it to a co-worker at the company Christmas party?
I cleaned it really good. Of course it doesn't have that new plastic smell, but it doesn't smell like me anymore.

I think that is a very intelligent thing to do. I give away crap I'm done with all the time. Especially the ones that hum. I think all these people on here telling you you're cheap are really just jealous that they don't work with you.
It's better after the new plastic smell goes away anyway...

My wife and I started a trend. When we got married we were given this "thing" (no idea what it was for still) by one of the guests. We decided to pass it on to the next of our friends to get married, and so on and so on. The "thing" is now in Kenya, four marriages later. You don't have to go so far as to explain the provenance of the item, but there's no harm in getting rid of it quietly...

Tacky. If you don't want it, consider giving it to Goodwill. They expect used items.
Unless someone has expressed to you that they want it, I think most people don't like receiving used items as a gift.

I think it's being cheap.
Go out and spend a little money, even if a gift cost 2 bucks, at least your not regifting

very tacky. yur guy gave you that probably cause he thuoght of yu when he saw it. thats very inconsiderate. just shell out the extra few $ for the party. The co worker will know its used

But get that soap smell off of it....yuk!
I like them used, wet, and smelling like you.
Be sure to take the batteries out, the post office doesn't like packages that buzz. They get all upset.
