Just keep telling her how kind, loving and worthy she is. I think that kind of pain back to back can be very difficult to overcome. But with a lot of love and support from you, she will come through it.

Aw, I'm sorry your daughter has had a rough time of it. You sound like a wonderful parent. Maybe you can just tell her how you feel about being her parent and how precious she is to you? My daughter has also had a rough time and I'm trying to really strengthen our relationship. We have lunch together pretty often since we live fairly close together, and we always have a great time. I hope your daughter continues on her plan to go to college and be a teacher. If she is grieving the loss of her husband, I would suggest she see a grief counselor, or get into a grief support group. Check with your local hospital, mortuary, or crisis center. They can usually recommend a grief counselor or support group.

Just try spending more time with her and doing fun things with her like when she was a child. She needs alot of love and sometimes when we tell them how special they are they don't believeit, I guess because we are their parents. I know you probably do these things but it is a very sad situation for her and I really feel for her. All you can do is love her, be there and help her walk again.....
