The thing is, they never really go away. They're going to keep coming back until his body grows to the point that his skin is regulating oil gland production that kicks on at puberty. So I guess you mean, how to keep them less noticeable.

Biore used to make a "strip" that did a pretty good job pulling them out. You rub some water on the skin, press the strip down tightly over that area, waited several minutes (5, 10? I forget), while it adheres to the blackheads under the skin, then you peel it off and the blackhead pull out with the strip. This is the best thing I ever used, but it weren't cheap ($5 for 5 if I recall), and I'm not sure they make them anymore. But worth checking around to see if you can find them, because they do a good job. Only need to do this once or twice a week.

Also make sure he gets enough vitamin A, ideally from foods, next-best from vitamin tablets.

Sorry, I just re-read and noticed that you've already tried "bore" strips. Anyway, they were the best thing I ever found. Good luck.

Some salons and spas have a tool that removes black heads. My cousin used to go get her nose done. Call around and ask if they have an esthetician who does this sort of thing. Good luck!
