Hello,
I think you meant to ask about certified organic food. Certified Organic Food means a governing body certifies that the food was not grown or processed with synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, preservatives, or chemical food additives. Also, no genetically modified organisms (GMO) were used.
Don't confuse Certified Organic with Natural. Natural means most of the food product was derived from a "natural" ingredient. However, the product can be processed with preservatives, food additives, and GMO ingredients. The natural ingredient doesn't have to be organic either.
I hope that helps.

It doesn't mean no chemicals at all. Organic means no man-made fertilizers or preservatives. But everything is a chemical if it reacts with another element. Oxygen, nitrogen, CO2, sugars, starches, all are chemicals.
