It just really depends on where you go to get a dog. If you go to the local animal shelter, and wait until they have a dog of the breed you want, you can get one for $100 or even less. If you want a dog from a reputable breeder, the cost will vary from $500 to 1000, depending on if the dog is show quality or not. Another idea might be to get a dog from a breed specific rescue organization. Those dogs run from $100-300.
Collies are nice dogs, but they require lots of exercise.
Akitas are very protective, but if not well socialized as puppies, can become aggressive to strangers and other dogs or cats.
Shiba Inus have the same issues as Akitas. Both Shiba Inus and Akitas can also be a bit difficult to train. On the plus side, they are usually housetrained quickly!
Siberian Huskies are wonderful dogs that do best in cooler climates. They are friendly, do not make good guard dogs, and tend to run away if off leash.
Hope this helps!

It sounds like you are looking for a pure bred breed. But there are a lot of things that you should consider before you go looking for a dog. How big will he/she get? Will it need to be groomed on a regular basis & can you afford it? If it just brushing like on the breeds you have selected you yourself need to brush and brush and brush or dish out bucks to take it to the groomer to rid it of the excess hair that builds up. Do you want an active or over active or laid back breed? Also think about the area you live in. You really don't want to get a husky if you live in Arizona cause of their heavy coat and you don't want a small breed dog if you live where the snow in the winter is 4 to 8 foot deep.
The cost will vary as to breed but you can also save a life if you visit the local pound or humane association. When you walk in you will have a kennel full of options. Big dogs, little dogs, long haired dogs, short haired dogs, young dogs, older dogs, roudy dogs, peacefull dogs etc. You will pay something near $100 to adopt a dog but you could pay several hundred for a pure bred. The cost of a saved dogs usually includes spay/neurter, shots, chip, and a health certificate. So you get alot for your money.
There is nothing that tears at the heart more than to look into the eyes of the dogs that are up for adoption. There will one pair of eyes that stand out to you way above the others. When your eyes meet, you will know.
I myself have had some mutts that have turned out to be the bests dogs I have ever had. You got a lot to choose from but think about the responsabilities and what you are willing to do to take care of the one you do choose.

Adoption costs have nothing to do with the breed when you go to a rescue or shelter. Costs vary for each organization.
If you go onto www.petfinder.com you will find some adoption fees are less then $100 and some are as much as $300.
Keep in mind also that regular veterinary care is costly!
Good luck and don't buy from a breeder....adopt!

Adoption usually costs 75-500, depending on the rescue organization.
Buying a purebred will usually cost you 700-3000. Akitas are usually quite a bit more pricey.

purebreeds can run you all kinds of prices depending on where you live and the avalability of qualified breeders.
A purebreed rescue usually runs $100 - $250 for adoption depending on the rescue group but you can get some wonderful purebreeds.
We just adopted from animal control she is a boxer mix and she was $50 - already spayed, all her shots except her last set of puppy which was about $20 I think. and she was micro chipped.

it depends if you want a "purbred" or if a good ol' mut will do!
Anywhere from free to 40$ to as many hundreds as you want/can spend. Then the vet bills and then food, and the food dishes, and the collars, leashes, toys, home repairs, carpet cleaners, crates, dog houses, more toys, dog beds, etc! I read once that you can expect to spend a min. of $500 per pet per year.

She ought to get alongside only large with a yorkie regardless of the size distinction. Be forewarned, nevertheless--you will not discover one to undertake greater beneficial than in all probability, or you will wait an quite long term for one. they're quite undemanding and extremely costly. for my area--even nevertheless i've got had a purebred (schnauzer--breeder) a crossbreed (peke-a-poo--puppy keep) and a maximum in all probability purebred (lhasa apso--observed from animal rescue) i could be very pleased with a loveable, stable tempered appreciative mutt observed from Animal Rescue. i'm going to undertake from animal rescue businesses any further. i've got enjoyed all my dogs with all my coronary heart, yet now that i've got observed one that modify into rejected (and frankly for some damaging habit features that we've on condition that ironed out) i'll maintain on doing it. stable success with in spite of path you have chose! evaluate an ordeal era to verify your Shepherd gets alongside with the hot dogs earlier comitting. and don't mistake them placing down the floor rules with one yet another as not getting alongside. that's everyday.

A pedigree puppy in the UK costs upwards of £400.00, from a shelter the prices vary but it's usually just enough to cover their expenses.
