For the past week, I have been coughing up blood, I have been feeling really tired, have lost weight and have been perspiring especially during the night, even though it's not hot out. I have also had difficulty breathing, though I don't have asthma. What is wrong with me?

Sounds like TB, or some other lung infection. Go to the doctor, and get antibiotics.

Nicolette, from all these answers you should already be in ER ot at the Dr. Many things can cause these symptoms, that is why it is best to get a professional opinion, and of course the proper treatment. I understand how fearful one gets, and I have had it happen, after my hospital stay and treatment, it came out well. It was an neumonia, a potent Antibiotic took care of it.I wish you a speedy recovery and a Happy Thanksgiving, God bless you.

The symptoms that you have are classic of TB but could be other things also. All the possibilities will require a thorough work up. I would suggest you go to the ER as soon as possible or see your provider today.

You probably have a lung infection or pleuresy (infection and inflamation of the delicate member that surrounded your lungs).

It is very important that you see a doctor as soon as possible.

Visit a doctor ASAP.

Posters on a message board cannot diagnose the problem.
