i am always givin my boyfried stuff like sweets and money an he has never given me anything!! i feel like he doesn't feel im worth giving stuff to! he always tells me he really loves me over txt messages but he has only ssaid it to my face 3 times including the time he asked me out which was 6 months ago. Yes, but in your case maybe. Okay I was in a relationship where my boyfriend didn't get me anything and we went out for 7 months. Well there could be explanations, he could not no what to get you or maybe he's waiting for a special time to get you the best present. The I love you part, well how many times have you told him you love him? If you want change then you start saying it more than him, he'll catch on.

Are you giving him gifts because it's what you want him to do for you? If you think he's using you then stop giving him gifts. Then you'll see if he is only sticking around because of that. As for the " I Love you" you can't make anyone say something they don't want to say especially something that powerful. Those are three words you have to be careful with. You don't just throw those words around to just anyone. You are together 6 months to some ppl that isn't long enough to start telling someone they love them.

He is definitely taking advatage of you. Stop buying him stuff, then you will know why he is with you in the first place. He could just be saying "I love you" to continue getting more gifts. A relationship HAS to always be 50/50.

Sounds as if your in competion with his ego, and this is bad news, I would think he would be more attentive to you, in all relationships their is caring, understanding, attraction, and love,their can't be any one-sided relationships, I think you should confront this behavior with 2 simple questions," Where are your loyalties"? and "Do you love me"?, the answer to the first one should be TWO words TO YOU, and the answer to the last should be YES, and your response should be " THEN START SHOWING IT"!! You feel uncomfortable as you're giving him a lot of 'material stuff' and he is giving you nothing in return...
Although what you feel is understandable, maybe the choice of how generous you are to him should change.

Tough to answer. Are you giving him money because he is asking for it or are you taking the initiative and giving him money because you want something in return?
