Just start remembering why you left in the first place. She's just trying to make you feel guilty and hey its working. Its amazing when your with them they take things for granted but now that your gone they don't want anyone to have you either. Sounds like a selfish ***** to me.Especially if your kids are grown.When a man comes into her life9or woman), the tears will fade away.

I have to be the first to tell you this, sometimes crying is real, like when someone you love dies. Lots of times people cry to manipulate the situation. It is a very effective way to control people. This is my guess about your situation. Think about it, that's how people get stuff from their parents for the first 15+ years of their life. It's a hard habbit to break, she probably doesn't realize she's being manipulative.

You have to cut her off cold turkey because seeing you will just prolong the agony for her. You can't stay with someone out of pity. If a relationship is not right, changing yourself to make it work isn't the way to go either.
