Go to a Dr. first. Service dogs should be for people who truly need them, not for people who feel fine at home and not school. Maybe it's a mental issue you're having and not a physical problem....

Service dogs are for people who need help with a specific disability, basically the dog must be trained to perform several specific tasks for them, for example a hearing dog is trained to alert when the doorbell rings, or a seizure dog will lead his person to the sofa when he detects a seizure.
If you feel a dog would be of benefit to you, you need your MD to diagnose you with a specific illness (depression, social anxiety, etc). That way you will be protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you feel a dog will be of benefit to you, it would help to go through one of the many service dog organizations out there. They will be of great help in your efforts to train your dog. Your dog will need to be perfectly behaved in public, completely housetrained, etc, and you will need to train your dog to perform specific tasks for you to help you cope with your disability. That can be as simple as standing next to you and allowing you to pet him when you give a certain command, but it's best to check with a service dog organization to see what kind of commands are considered "specific".
Sounds like you have social anxiety, this is a common problem, and most people don't usually need service dogs for it. Therapy, counseling, and possibly medication might work wonderfully for you.
Hope this helps!

You should be properly diagnosed (by an MD) with a disablility prior to obtaining a service dog.

You need something. IT sounds more like a psychological problems and maybe you should presue that route first.
