It's only 2 tsps of pineapple juice instead of lemon juice, it shouldn't change the taste of the cheesecake that much. Just serve it as is and my guess is, no one will notice and if they do, tell them it's your special recipe. Who knows you may decide you like it the way it is! Think positive!

I wouldnt worry about it....it will taste fine. The pinepple juice isnt as intense as the lemon, so it shouldnt be very noticable, and it goes well with cherries, so it may actually be quite tasty! They make a pineapple cheesecake anyway. I wouldnt pour lemon juice over the top though!

Forget the cherry topping. Get some crushed pineapple, add rum, butter and brown sugar and make your own topping in a saucepan then spoon over your cheesecake.

You've probably hit on a wonder recipe!

I wouldn't add any lemon juice on top. It might be runny. Just top it with the cherries and pretend it's supposed to be that way.

Everyone will probably ask for the recipe

You could add coconut instead of cherries and call it pina colada!

no. i think the recipe might call for lemon juice, not only for an underlying flavor, but also for acidity. i'm sure pineapple juice is acidic so it might actually be okay. how did this happen, though? anyway, if it's good, i'd like to know. my mom makes this for holidays and i don't like the lemon juice in it. pineapple sounds better.

Cheesecakes are my favorite to make! It honestly shouldnt hurt it. And I would say no to adding lemon juice to it now. Pinnaple has enough citrus by itself! It will turn out fine!

No, taste it. Sounds like it wouldn't be that bad, especially since lemon and pineapple are both kind of tart.
Taste the filling, you may have a new variation!

You should be fine as is. Taste it first. Lemon is tart while pineapple is sweet, so I would hold off on adding/drizzling lemon juice on top.

Nope. Just serve as is. It'll be a little sweeter than normal. Don't panic. Maybe you can taste it first to make sure it's OK. Then cut in slices & put on a plate. Nobody will know the difference.

it will give it a sweeter flavor, but will turn out fine. Leave off the lemon juice on top...
