It's an infection. I had something similar 2 years ago. Have your doctor check it and get some antibiotics. Also soak your finger 3 times a day for 15 minutes each time.

it could have started out as an ingrown hair that has now taken on a reaction to the metal in your ring.
Remove the ring, try to express all of the pus you can and wash the finger/hand with antibacterial soap.
Keep the finger treated with antibiotic ointment or cream but do not put a bandaid on it,it needs air to heal. Putting a bandaid on it can close off the air and keep the finger weeping or pusing up.
Once the wound heals you can put your ring back on but watch it and see if the finger starts to look inflammed again and IF it does, take the ring off and you will probably want to keep it off.

You probably got something under the ring that caused an infection, the "Pimple thing" with puss was your body saying "take that damn thing off, your hurting me" then got an infection to get rid of it, whatever was in there that you now squeezed out.
Wash it off with peroxide and keep it clean. If it gets larger and spreads then you have a problem, keep you eye on it. I don't mean that literally.

See a doctor-pus oozing out of your finger should not be taken lightly. You may need regular dressings and antibiotics. Read on osteomyelitis-this is what happens to neglected wounds which may spread to bones.

Its an infection, you have a reaction to the ring, dab the pus sore with cotton fluff dipped in almost boiling water, hope all goes well
