Doesn't anyone else think they look like shredded scabs? Truly nasty stuff to look at when I'm hitting the salad bar.

Well, I like them too. Never thought about them as scabs, however I like Oscar Meyers REAL bacon bits not the imitation ones. The imitation ones are gritty like sand. I also like cottage cheese...what I cant stand? Thanking of what they throw in that "Macaroni Salad"....they just ain't no tellin what all the crunchiness is about and I am a TEXTURE person!

I suggest closing your eyes and feeling the salad bar out. Seriously though, there are truly grosser things at the salad bar... like cottage cheese.

yes, I guess they do. Thats' why we should be making our own and not buying them.
