Is it better to do it during a sunset? or right before a sunset? Anyone have ideas?

Start before the sunset that way you get some of both in your wedding.

just before - then take pics during sunset. I got married at noon in Hawaii - but that was a personal preference

It would be so beautiful if you could do it during a sunset; with the waves crashing behind you and the sun different shades of orange, red and gold.It sounds perfect like that.
