Of course they do! they propogate themselves all the time - man just decideds to remove a lot of them in built up areas. how on earth do you think that trees still survive. Man just plants some to try and make up for all the ones they cut down - trouble is man wants only certain trees in certain places.

Yes Oak Trees are famous for planting them selves. The Pin Wheel as they are called,( the seed ) drops onto the ground and re plants more Oak Trees.
Acorns Do the same, when squirrels bury acorns for their winter food . they forget where some are and the Acorns re plant Acorn Trees...

ABSOLUTELY! Trees have survived and thrived and proliferated without man's intervention for many years. The sad part of the tree cycle of life is that man has, in fact, harvested and/or destroyed far more trees than he has planted. Trees survive in spite of man's actions, not because of them.

No I don't think trees plant themselves without human help because they aren't like flowers. they don't expel seeds.
