Your stomach is covered with a protective layer of mucousy stuff, along with the acids that aid in digestion. This stuff is yellow, and you can throw it up if there's nothing else in your stomach. You need to get some fluids in you, pronto. Don't worry about eating solids, just fluids for now.

It does not matter when you last ate carrots or tomatoes there will always be orange or red bits in it when you throw up.

No, of course not. It's actually half-digested food. The action of your stomach acid makes it that colour

i'm gonna say no. why would that happen? i'd say it's more likely carrots (or some type of half digested food you ate)
